How you feel about your care is important to us.

If you have questions or concerns about your care, please talk to:

  • Your nurse, doctor or any member of your care team.
  • The manager or nurse in charge on your unit.
If you are uncomfortable speaking directly with your care team, you can contact a Patient Representative who will:
  • Listen to your concerns.
  • Work with your care team as needed, and
  • Help develop solutions that are respectful to everyone involved.

We encourage you to discuss your concerns as soon as possible, while you are still in hospital. Speaking up will improve your experience at HSC; it will not compromise your care.
