HSC Winnipeg Women’s Hospital
Women’s Health services are provided at 665 William Avenue.
This building is designed to enhance patient privacy, safety, and comfort. Integrating the healing role of nature was important to design of the hospital. Images of native Manitoba wildflowers and grasses represent different aspects of patient care and serve as wayfinding landmarks. Images of elm trees are imprinted on the glass walls surrounding the building. The elm canopy has a significant meaning – Winnipeg is home to the largest remaining urban elm forest in North America.
