Allan McDonald worked on H7 as an orderly from 1978-1979 and was then accepted into the 1979-1981 HSC nursing program. He spent his critical care career working in ER, trauma, as a STARS Flight Nurse, Orthopedic surgery, OR, PARR, and as the Primary Care & Orthopedic Program Manager before retiring in 2013.

The H7 orderlies were daily assigned to do all personal care along with an RN. I used to take Kevin to social events such as concerts or sporting events on my days off.
